“Jersey Shore” Goes “Jaywalking” On “The Tonight Show” VIDEO
Leno’s first week back as host of The Tonight Show continued Wednesday, with the late-night comedian welcoming the cast of Jersey Shore to the stage for a Celebrity All-Stars edition of “Jaywalking.” Here’s a given: no one on TV’s most controversial reality hit is a Rhodes Scholar. Six cast members from the popular docusoap appeared on Wednesday night’s special edition of Jay Leno’s classic skit, where the self-described “guidos” and “guidettes” participated in a trivia game where they would be asked “things you should have learned in school.”
Among the highlights:
-Pauly D doesn’t quite get the difference between “homosapien” and “homosexual…..”
-Sarah Palin would be in a line for the presidency if both President Obama and Vice President Biden were rendered unable to govern…..
-Snooki thinks J.D. Salinger wrote The Catcher In The Closet…..
-Barbara Walters looks a helluva lot like Joan Rivers…..
Jay Leno Returns To “The Tonight Show” Monday

Jay Leno returns to the nation’s TV screens on Monday night. Leno will be reclaiming his old job at NBC’s Tonight Show just nine months after turning the show over to the now unemployed Conan O’Brien, and only 19 days after NBC pulled the plug on Jay’s ill-fated primetime reality show.
Do you think viewers will hold a grudge when Leno returns to 11:35 PM? Can the comedian reclaim his audience after the debacle that left O’Brien out in the cold?

Conan Fans Spoof New Jay Leno “Tonight Show” Promo [VIDEO]
Fans of ousted late-night host Conan O’Brien are hopping mad about the new “Get Back To Where I Once Belonged” promo toting Jay Leno’s return to The Tonight Show. In the ad, Hollywood’s biggest chin breezes down a winding road in one of his antique cars, smiling, in what seems to be a dig at the redhead comic affectionately known as Coco.
Team Conan promptly devised a defense to and ultimately struck back with a parody of the ad (Featured Above). Check out the original below:

Perez Hilton is bit off key and “premature” on Kevin Eubanks leaving “Tonight Show”
(PerezHilton.com)
Perez Hilton, who can’t be bothered with fact-checking, titled a post, “Leno’s Sidekick Leaves The Tonight Show,” when, in reality, Kevin Eubanks has NOT left the show.
According to Hilton, “Kevin Eubanks, Jay Leno’s trusted bandleader and sidekick, has decided to leave his longtime gig on The Tonight Show. Kevin admitted he wanted a ‘change’ and is hoping to pursue other opportunities. Rumored to replace the band-man: Hootie and the Blowfish crooner Darius Rucker.”
Since Gossip Cop does fact-check, here’s the real deal.
An NBC source tells Gossip Cop that talk of Eubanks leaving is “premature and inaccurate.” In fact, Eubanks has been shooting promos for the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” which returns March 1.
It is true, though, that Eubanks spoke to the show’s producers, and said he would like record and tour more. “He’s coming back, but he’s talked about wanting to take time off” for his outside music projects, said the source.
The source went on to stress that, while a Eubanks departure may occur down the road, right now it’s “premature,” and talk about replacements is off base.
“No one’s looking” for a new band leader now, said the source.
Gossip Cop will follow this story as Eubanks and the producers have further discussions.
